Please share the good news in Polson. There will be four elective positions opening in Polson soon. They include three city commissioner positions, one in each ward, and an opening for a new mayor. The filing dates are from April 29-June 27. You may pick up an application at the election office in the Lake County Courthouse. There is a minimal filing fee. You must be 18 years or older. City commissioners must be a resident in the ward they plan to represent. The mayor must be a resident within the Polson city limits.
Furthermore, Polson will be hiring a new city manager. It would be advantageous for all of us to hire a local member of our community. Strict residence requirements do not apply to this position. Please call the City of Polson for more information about the city manager position.
