Editor,
Have you ever taken a gravel road toward the mountains or the river and have come to the end, only to see a dirt ramp, a wooden coral and a hitching rail all set out with a dirt trail going out? Going where? To what? Those are the questions that our Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen can answer, and as a member, can also show you. We ride the trails; we clear the trails; we have the knowledge and are happy to share these and other important lessons of going into the back country with you as a member.
Once you have the knowledge and the ability to go forth on your own, your personal interests will only move you forward to new places and the quiet of all of nature’s gifts.
Montana Back Country Horsemen has a website where we share information on what we are doing: www.bchmt.org. Take a look and see just how many horsemen are out there. If you have a horse but are hesitant to venture out, we might have the answers for you. We are here to share our knowledge with you.
If you would like to contact us, please send an e-mail to dicon4374@blackfoot.net, and we can send you more information and let you know just what is happening. We meet at the VFW in Ronan on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. You do not have to be a member to come in and visit and see our program and meet our members, who are looking forward to seeing new faces and making new friends.
