Editor,
Today the nation is shocked and horrified because of the random mass murders that took place in a theater in Colorado.
Every year in our state of Montana alone, about 2,000 tiny babies’ arms and legs are torn from their healthy bodies so that these babies can be aborted more easily. These babies feel pain, repel from the instruments and ultimately die. All this has been documented many, many times. The body parts have been found in tiny receptacles behind the abortion clinics — placed there to be hauled off with the rest of the garbage. In late-term abortion, such as take place in Wichita, Kansas, the bodies are burned in a crematorium, just as were the war victims during the Holocaust.
No one reading this needs to take my word for it. If you believe in God; if you believe that our nation was founded on the principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; that we are created with certain unalienable rights, which come from God alone, then I urge you to study all you can about the subject of abortion. Pregnancy is not a disease. The womb should be the safest place for a child. A child is not a mistake or a burden. Each one is a gift from God, formed in the womb for which the womb was created.
