LIBBY — Polson’s boys and girls tennis had a big Saturday in Libby, with Dylan McCrumb taking a hard-fought victory from Danny Leggins at No. 2 singles.
“The boys battled it out for over two hours in extreme heat,” head coach Bob Hislop said.
Whitney Zimmerman and Brady Hislop also won their No. 1 matches.
“Our one loss was a very encouraging match, as the No. 2 doubles team of Tegan Bauer and Libby Clay stepped up to No. 1 due to an injury and lost a very well-played match in two tie-break sets,” Hislop added.
The Pirates and Lady Pirates look to repeat as divisional champions in Kalispell this weekend; it would be the seventh consecutive divisional title for the girls.
