Judge C.B. McNeil dealt with the following cases Wednesday, May 8:
Harold Irvine, 66, Hot Springs, had his 2007 suspended sentence for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony, sixth offense, revoked and was sentenced to the Montana State Prison for 15 years, all suspended.
According to court documents, Irvine violated his probation by being arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol; consuming alcohol; and driving a vehicle.
In a separate case, Irvine was sentenced to Montana State Prison for 30 years, 20 suspended, for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a felony.
According to court documents, the charge stems from a December 2011 incident where Irvine was stopped for driving in the wrong lane of traffic. A breath sample showed Irvine’s blood alcohol concentration was .221 percent, and his driving record showed he had at least three prior DUI convictions and was on probation for a felony DUI conviction.
Darrell William Kehoe, 65, Ronan, in a change of plea, admitted driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony. He was found guilty, and sentencing was set for Wednesday, June 12, at 9 a.m.
According to court documents, the charge stems from a Jan. 5 incident where Kehoe was stopped for driving without headlights. His driving history indicated he had six prior DUI convictions, including one felony from 2005. Kehoe smelled of alcohol, and a breath test showed he had a blood alcohol concentration of .086 percent.
Keith Edmonson, 52, Polson, was arraigned on amended information. He pleaded not guilty to assault with a weapon, a felony, and aggravated assault, a felony. A jury trial is set for June 10 at 9 a.m.
According to court documents, the charges stem from a Dec. 15, 2012, incident where Edmonson allegedly beat his minor stepson with a belt for wetting the bed. The boy was taken to the hospital emergency room, where a physician told investigators that the boy had sustained kidney damage and had blood in his urine as well as severe bruising on his back, buttocks and legs. When Edmonson was shown photos of the boy’s injuries, he stated the injuries were consistent with “the whipping I gave him.”
LuCretia McLeod, 19, Arlee, pleaded not guilty to criminal endangerment by accountability, a felony, and criminal mischief by accountability, a felony. An omnibus hearing was set for Thursday, July 11, and a jury trial set to begin Monday, Aug. 26. Both begin at 9 a.m.
According to court documents, the charges stem from a March 11 incident where McLeod allegedly shot a .22 rifle at her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle, which was parked at his house.
Michael Thomas, 32, Pablo, pleaded not guilty to incest, a felony, and sexual assault, a felony. An omnibus hearing was set for Thursday, July 11, and a jury trial set to begin Monday, Aug. 26. Both begin at 9 a.m.
According to court documents, Thomas turned himself in at the Lake County Sheriff’s Office on April 5 for molesting his 6-year-old stepson about a month before. In an interview, the child said Thomas told him not to tell his mother about the incident, but he did tell his mother.
Daniel Andrews Jr., 42, Ronan, had his 2008 suspended sentence for criminal possession with intent to distribute, a felony, revoked and was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for five years.
According to court documents, Andrews violated his probation by possessing and consuming alcohol on multiple occasions; associated with known criminals; and using methamphetamine.
Yancy McCrea, 26, Pablo, had his 2012 suspended sentences for two counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, both felonies, revoked and was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for five years.
According to court documents, McCrea violated his probation by using methamphetamine and associating with known criminals.
