Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases Oct. 1 – Oct. 14:

Roy Jeremiah Reum, 26, pleaded guilty to windshield not clear, improper color. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. In addition, he pleaded guilty to speeding, driving 45 mph in a posted 55 mph zone. Reum was found guilty and fined $20 plus $35 in court costs.

Susan Denise Lake, 56, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to re-register. She was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Dalton Lee Collier, 20, pleaded not guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21, first offense. He was fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.

Donald Wesley May, 44, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended and fined $500 plus $85 in court costs.

Donald Jay Bertsch, 41, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, third or subsequent offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. As of Oct. 15, Bertsch had already served two days; if he can provide proof of six months continuous insurance, the remaining three days will be waived.

Travis David Preuss, 22, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, third or subsequent offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 suspended. He was also fined $500 plus $35 in court costs.

Darrel Steven Ostler, 36, pleaded guilty to violating commission or department orders or rules. He was found guilty and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.

Ronald Melvin Parnell, 27, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, expired more than 180 days. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
