Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases Dec. 19-23:

Paul L. Stokes, 39, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Stokes also pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of reckless driving. He was found guilty and sentenced to 90 days in jail, 85 suspended, and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.

Lawson Rafael Sanders, 24, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 suspended, and fined $500 plus $85 in court costs.

Melissa Rose Tonkin, 38, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 73 mph in a 55-mph zone.

Sabrina M. McCafferty, 25, pleaded not guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, first offense. She was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. McCafferty also pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent BAC or greater, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 30 days in jail, 25 suspended, and fined $600 plus $85 in court costs.

Sean Wren Malatare, 20, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 20 (over age 18), first offense. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.

John R. Tuttle, 62, pleaded not guilty to speeding, traveling 66 mph in a 35-mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs. Tuttle also pleaded not guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. In a no contest verdict, he was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 suspended, and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs. Tuttle also pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Billy Joe Sayles, 49, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.

Alexander Stockwell Graves, 26, pleaded guilty to the amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Jesper M. Salmelin, 31, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. He was found guilty and fined $100.

Jeanne L. Courville, 54, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Courville also pleaded not guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Courville also pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. She was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Joshua Allen Ray, 25, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs. Ray also pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. He was found guilty and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs.

Yvonne Marie Mcleod, 23, pleaded guilty to permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Jesse Wayneharris Hosler, 22, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs. Hosler also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days, eight suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs.

Isabelle Sincere Kuhblank, 21, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Jeryn Jamesdrew Hendricks, 26, pleaded guilty to unlawful use of vehicle while hunting, driving off an established road. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Ronald Lee Bader, 65, pleaded guilty to speeding, traveling 55 mph in a 45-mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $20 plus $35 in court costs. Bader also pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.

Mary Anne Johnson, 73, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 45 mph in a 35-mph zone.

Jerry J. Wills, 50, pleaded guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of .08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.

Larry Lynn Gertz, 60, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 65 mph in a 55-mph zone.
