Judge C.B. McNeil dealt with the following cases Wednesday, May 22:

Roseanna Fisher, 58, Ronan, was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for five years, all suspended except 30 days to be served in the Lake County Jail, for fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs. Fisher received credit for time spent in an in-patient treatment program, resulting in no jail time.

According to court documents, charges stem from a June 2012 incident where Fisher attempted to get Lorazepam from multiple providers in the same day without disclosing that fact to the nurse practitioner. It was found that Fisher had a previous record for fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs.

Kathy Jasso, 50, St. Ignatius, was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for four years, all suspended except 30 days to be served in Lake County Jail for criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

According to court documents, charges stem form a November 2012 incident where Jasso was arrested on outstanding warrants, and the arresting deputy found bags of what appeared to methamphetamine, plus two mislabeled prescription bottles containing hydrocodone and methadone pills.

Ronald Quaring, 48, Pablo, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony. 

An omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, Aug. 14 with a jury trial set to start Monday, Nov. 4. Both begin at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from a May 3 incident where Quaring was stopped on his motorcycle and arrested in Pablo for driving under the influence.

William A. Koso, 36, Polson, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, fourth or subsequent offense, a felony; and three counts of criminal endangerment, all felonies. An omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, Aug. 14 with a jury trial set to start Monday, Nov. 4. Both begin at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from a May 10 incident where Koso was allegedly driving drunk on Courville Trail in Pablo and crashed into a telephone pole. Three children, ages 8, 3, and 1, were in the vehicle.

Jamie Kibler, 22, Polson, admitted committing forgery, a felony. The court found Kibler guilty. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, June 26 at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from an April 8 incident when a St. Ignatius woman reported eight checks had been written on her account between March 24 and April 8 that she did not write, and believed the checks to be stolen from her home. Then on April 11, she provided a Lake County detective with 10 more checks written on her account. Kibler was linked to the crime by checks he had written to an auto glass repair shop in Helena. Kibler had visited the victim’s home in March. 

Judge C.B. McNeil dealt with the following cases Wednesday, May 29:

Travis Morigeau, 23, Charlo, was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for a total of 10 years, with five suspended, for two counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs. Morigeau received credit for 84 days already served.

According to court documents, charges stem from a September 2012 incident where Morigeau was arrested on a probation and parole violation. Upon searching his wallet, officers located two hydrocordone pills and a morphine pill.

James Allen, 38, St. Ignatius, was sentenced to Department of Corrections for five years, all suspended, for criminal endangerment, a felony. Allen also received credit for 96 days served.

According to court documents, charges stem from a Jan. 10 incident where a Lake County Sheriff’s deputy pulled Allen over for reckless driving, and Allen tried to back his red pickup truck into the deputy.

William Colman, 22, Charlo, was sentenced to 30 days in Lake County Jail, minus credit for day for aggravated assault, a felony.

According to court documents, charges stem from an October 2012 incident where Colman allegedly was choking a victim in her home.

Spencer Lande, 30, pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of dangerous drugs, a felony. An omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, July 24 with a jury trial set to begin Monday, Sept. 30. Both begin at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from a June 23, 2012 incident where a Lake County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a report of disorderly conduct. Lande left the scene and when his vehicle was stopped and searched, the deputy found two bowls of an amber substance determined by the state crime lab to be more than one gram of hashish.

Lee Coble, 58, Polson, pleaded not guilty to assault on a minor, a felony. An omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, Aug. 14 with a jury trial set to start Monday, Nov. 4. Both begin at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from a February 20 incident where Coble allegedly grabbed a 13-year-old around the neck and led her to the lunchroom of the school. Four other witnesses observed the incident and it was recorded on tape.

Coble told a Lake County Deputy that he did grab hold of the student’s neck in a “Frankenstein maneuver,” and told the student he was directing the student to the lunchroom.

Brandon Bagnell, 44 of Missoula, pleaded not guilty to stalking, second offense, a felony. The omnibus hearing will be continued June 26, and another omnibus hearing is set for Wednesday, Aug. 14 with a jury trial set to start Monday, Nov. 4. All begin at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from an April 18 incident where a woman reported that Bagnell, who is serving time in Lake County Jail, was calling her repeatedly, usually hanging up before the woman answered. The woman has a restraining order against Bagnell.

A search of Lake County Jail telephone recordings found Bagnell had indeed attempted to call her cell phone number 135 times and her home phone 248 times between March 18 and April 30.

Dolly Evans, 36, Dixon, had her deferred sentence revoked for breaking terms of probation. For each of the two counts of criminal endangerment, Evans was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for 10 years with five suspended. 

According to court documents, original charges stem from a November 2010 incident where Evans had passed out in her car on a snowy night in the middle of Highway 212 with another passed-out adult passenger. An infant and toddler were also in the vehicle.

Byron Colon, 21, St. Ignatius, had his deferred sentence revoked for breaking terms of probation, and he was sentenced to Montana State Prison for 20 years with 10 years suspended for assault with a weapon.

According to court documents, charges stem from a June 2012 incident where Colon aimed a .32 caliber handgun at two victims outside of a St. Ignatius store, saying derogatory remarks to one victim with a threat to kill her.

Judge Deborah Kim Christopher dealt with the following cases Thursday, May 23:

Aaron Yazzie, 20, Ronan, pleaded not guilty to criminal endangerment, a felony, and criminal mischief, a felony.

An omnibus hearing is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug 15, with a jury trial set to begin 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23.

According to court documents, charges stem from a March 11 incident where Yazzie allegedly fired shots into two vehicles parked in front of a residence in St. Ignatius.

George Couture, 53, Pablo, pleaded not guilty to assault with a weapon and aggravated assault, both felonies.

An omnibus hearing is set for Thursday, Aug. 15 and a jury trial is set to begin Monday, Sept. 23.

According to court documents, charges stem from a May 8 incident where a pregnant minor was allegedly kicked in head, hit with a golf club, punched in the face and choked in a Pablo residence. Couture has a previous conviction for partner-family member assault.

Gavin Jay Guardipee, 23, Ronan, pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual intercourse without consent.

An omnibus hearing is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, July 11, with a jury trial set to begin 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26.

According to court documents, charges stem from a May 3 incident where a Ronan police officer heard on his radio that an unruly juvenile female was attempting to jump out of a car. He found the 13-year-old walking northbound along Highway 93. Her mother had just been picked her up from jail in Kalispell, and she wanted out of the car so she could get her cell phone from Guardipee. Officers were told Guardipee allegedly had sexual relations twice with her, without her consent.

Jeremiah Mitchell pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of dangerous drugs. An omnibus hearing is set for Thursday, July 11 and a jury trial is set to begin Monday, August 26.

According to court documents, charges stem from an April 7 incident where Mitchell was arrested as he was parked in front of a St. Ignatius school after officers allegedly found methamphetamine and related paraphernalia in Mitchell’s car.

Judge Deborah Kim Christopher dealt with the following cases Thursday, Mar 30:

Damien Bourdon, 21, Big Arm, was had his sentence deferred for three years but was ordered to serve 20 days in Lake County Jail for criminal possession with intent to distribute.

According to court documents, charges stem from a November 2012 incident when tribal officers stopped Bourdon’s car in Pablo and found 242.5 grams of marijuana, a scale and text messages on his phone, allegedly indicating Bourdon was selling the drug.

Ronnie Burland, 29, no address, admitted to charges of burglary, a felony. He was found guilty. Sentencing is set for Thursday, July 11 at 9 a.m.

 According to court documents, charges stem from a Jan. 26 incident where Burland was stealing firearms from a residence.

Junior Gardipe, 25, Pablo, in a change of plea, admitted he committed burglary, a felony. He was found guilty, and sentencing is set for Thursday, July 11 at 9 a.m.

According to court documents, charges stem from a February 22 incident where Gardipe was caught stealing laptop computers from a private residence. 

Steven Morigeau, 31, Pablo, admitted committing burglary, a felony. He was found guilty, and sentencing is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, July 18.

According to court documents, charges stem from a recent incident where Morigeau stole firearms, two compound bows and ammunition from a storage facility.

Thomas Moran, 37 Polson, was sentenced to Montana State Prison for 25 years with 15 suspended for sexual assault, a felony. Moran will not be eligible for parole until he completes two phases of sexual offender treatment programs.

According to court documents, charges stem from a June 20, 2012, assault on 11-year-old female. Moran was found to also have prior allegations of sexual assault.

Jason David, 29, Ronan, was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for 10 years, all suspended and credited with time already served. David must also register as Tier 1 sexual offender.

According to court documents, charges stem from a November 2012 incident where he forced a female to have sex with him, causing bodily injury.
