Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases May 17-30:
Jose Andres Gonzalez, 21, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 day in jail with all suspended. Gonzalez was also fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. He also pleaded not guilty to failing to carry insurance in vehicle. Gonzalez was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Michael Douglas Ford, 51, forfeited a $100 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 81 mph in a 45 mph zone.
Rick Fenter pleaded not guilty an amended offense of operating with blood alcohol content 0.08 percent or greater, first offense.
He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. In addition, Fenter pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended. Fenter was also fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Taija Rae Collier, 25, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, third offense. She was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 suspended and credited for 10 days. Collier was also fined $350 plus $35 in court costs.
In a separate incident, Collier pleaded not guilty to theft. She was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 174 suspended and six days credited. She also pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended and five days credited.
Ronald Allen Race, 44, pleaded not guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense. Race was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight suspended. He was also fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. Race also pleaded not guilty to operating with expired registration. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Jose Parra, 20, pleaded guilty to defective tail lamps. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
David Wayne Anderson, 41, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Larry Manuel Bettencourt, 57, pleaded not guilty to destruction or tampering of a communication device to obstruct, prevent or interfere with requesting an ambulance or medical assistance.
He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended and one day credited. Bettencourt was also fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Nicholas Crawford, 18, pleaded guilty to speeding, traveling 90 mph in a 70 mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $40. In a separate incident, Crawford also pleaded guilty to speeding, traveling 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. He was found guilty and fined $40.
Timothy Scott Kitchel, 32, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for improper passing.
Javona Cassandra Heath, 40, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding, traveling 80 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Charles Donavan Sanborn, 65, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for failing to drive to right of roadway except when passing.
Daniel Wayne Skiles, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
Andrew Daniel Teigen forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.
Erika Mae Finley, 34, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 55 mph in a 45 mph zone.
Roxann Strickland, 50, forfeited a $0 for a seatbelt violation.
Robert William Hoene, 70, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 60 mph in a 50 mph zone.
Janice Michelle Marshall, 31, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance, first offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. She also pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation. She was found guilty and fined $20.
Peter Joseph Howard, 27, forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.
Brian D. Henson, 34, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with two suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. He also pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Erik Antonio Castle, 40, forfeited a $30 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 62 mph in a 50 mph zone.
Sierra K. Fischer, 20, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 35 mph in a 25 mph zone.
Wayne M. Milbrandt, 56, forfeited a $30 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 60 mph in a 45 mph zone.
James Lyle Pettit, 51, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, traveling 65 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Nicole Lynn Silverstein, 21, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding, traveling 80 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Adrianne L. Bennett, 32, pleaded guilty to not carrying proof of insurance in vehicle, second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to two days in jail and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Lance Richard Wright, 28, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for no motorcycle endorsement.
Max Albert Krantz, 50, forfeited a $100 bond plus $35 in court costs for failing to display proof of current gross vehicle weight fees.
James Patrick Benn, 39, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 for speeding, traveling 55 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Kenton Raymond Lembke, 54, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Kim Joseph Sias, 22, pleaded guilty to speeding, driving 70 mph in a 50 mph zone. Sias was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Amie Barbara Torgison, 26, pleaded guilty to speeding, driving 62 mph in a 50 mph zone. She was found guilty and fined $30 plus $35 in court costs. Torgison also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
James Leroy Schmauch, Jr., forfeited a $30 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, driving 67 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Richard Arvid Reep, 66, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, driving 65 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Joshua Anthony Kriskovich, 22, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. Kriskovich also pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle on highway. He was found guilty and fined $75. Additionally, he pleaded guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days is jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Joseph Gordon Crum, Jr., 32, forfeited a $30 bond for speeding, driving 80 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Keith William Moore, 44, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. Moore also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs. Additionally, Moore pleaded guilty to criminal possession of dangerous drugs, marijuana, 60 grams or less, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs. Lastly, Moore pleaded guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Wayne Dee Hirschi, 66, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding, driving 55 mph in a 45 mph zone.
Joseph H. Unterreiner, 55, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding, driving 80 mph in a 60 mph zone.
Michael Allen Chenoweth, 37, forfeited a $50 bond plus $35 in court costs for failing to obey a red stop traffic signal.
William E. Kushmaul, 51, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 166 suspended and fined $600 plus $85 in court costs. Kushmaul also pleaded guilty for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
William F. Coleman, 49, forfeited a $30 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, driving 65 mph in a 50 mph zone.
Charles Steven Smith, 26, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. Smith also pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle with liability insurance, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 100 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Additionally, Smith pleaded guilty to failing to properly secure license plates. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. Lastly, Smith pleaded guilty to Montana resident operating with foreign driver’s license over 60 days. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Milton A. Claros, 48, forfeited a $20 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, driving 45 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Jennifer B. Madrid, 33, forfeited a $100 bond plus $35 in court costs for speeding, driving 80 mph in a 45 mph zone.
