I first met Steve Kendley when he was gathering signatures to get on the ballot as a candidate for Lake County Sheriff. To file as an Independent candidate, he had to get 500 signatures of registered voters. No small task. I decided to watch and listen to see what this man is all about.
I like what I have learned about Steve. I have learned that he speaks with conviction because he has convictions. He is not seduced by moral relativism. He doesn’t “tickle ears” to get a vote. He really does understand the Constitution and constitutional principles and he won’t violate them just to be “politically correct” or “politically expedient.” His oath to uphold the Constitution supersedes his allegiance to any political party. I trust him. I am voting for him for sheriff.
