Editor,

Once again I have this feeling of having to write another letter concerning the Tribal council. I hear once again the Tribal council has turned down the petition, saying they feel there is some problems with all the papers that were turned in.

Maybe what needs to happen here, people, is everyone needs to go to the quarterly meeting on July 5 and see for yourselves what is going on with the tribe.

I cannot believe how some people want the rest of the Salazar settlement but yet will not back the people who are trying to o on this settlement. So people, you need to show up.

Everyone should know that saying: “Together we stand, divided we fall.”

So come on people, let us stand together. Tribal council keeps coming up with excuses all the time. I think they should show what they find faults with, not just say some of the signatures are

questionable. Post that list so people can see and dispute about where they live. I am sure most people know where they hang their hat ... in the boundaries of the Flathead Reservation.

Maybe they need to give us all a raise in per-capita instead of just voting themselves a raise and paying department heads, renting offices for people who are suppose to be running the dam millions.

To me, that is very ridiculous.

The Tribal Council can see how some people are living — poorly — yet they keep denying, denying the people. They swore to do the best for their people, but they are not.
