Editor,
I, along with friends from New York and Seattle, attended the new play “Tryst” at the Port Polson Theater on Friday evening. Neal and Karen Lewing portray two characters set in the early part of the century, a shady con man and his female mark, who’s also a dark and manipulating character. A “noir” plot set in a stark setting ... a simple set with scenes that are described and transformed using projected silhouettes on backlit screens — very entertaining and oh so sinister. The story often seemed like it caught you up in predictable cliches, but no, it was not to be. These characters keep you guessing until the very end. This play was very entertaining and showcases the wonderful talents of both Neal and Karen. We highly recommend this show for a wonderful evening.
