Polson City Court Judge Doug A. Olson dealt with the following cases Jan. 15 through Feb. 3:
James Perry Lafountain, 19, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license, expired less than 180 days. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Lafountain was also ordered to pay $467 in restitution.
Jacob Beeks, 29, pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $85 in court costs.
Terri Leanne Herreid, 54, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of reckless driving. She was found guilty and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. Herreid’s driver’s license was suspended for six months.
Daniel Owen Neiter, 21, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of reckless driving. He was found guilty and fined $300 plus $35 in court costs.
Harry Edward VanBouchaute, Sr., pleaded not guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $300 plus $700 in court costs.
George Bennett Evans, 42, pleaded not guilty to driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and sentenced to two days in jail. Evans was also fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Evans also pleaded not guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance. According to court documents, this was Evans’ sixth offense. He was sentenced to five days in jail and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs.
Eric Lamberson, 19, pleaded guilty to failing to yield to vehicle on through highway. He was fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Donald G. Cooper, 60, pleaded guilty to three charges: careless driving, failing to give notice of accident by quickest means, and owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance. Although sentencing on all three charges was deferred, he was ordered to pay $750 in restitution and surrender his driver’s license for six months.
Alan Harris Stewart, 39, pleaded guilty to privacy in communications, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs.
Owen M. Schwab, 26, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Patrick Alan Haun, 47, entered a no contest plea for charges of criminal mischief with a loss of less than $1,500. His plea was accepted and Haun was sentenced to one day in jail and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs. Haun also entered a no contest plea for disorderly conduct. The court accepted the plea and Haun was fined $60 plus $85 in court costs.
Delta Dawn Marie Clark, 25, pleaded guilty to a right of way violation. She was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. Clark also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, third or subsequent offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to one day in jail, and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs.
Victoria Silva, 21, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Joshua P. Ransom, 19, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Trey F. Payne, 18, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Christopher L. Curry, 39, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of dangerous drugs (marijuana, less than 60 grams), first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to one day in jail, and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs.
Theresa Jean McNair, 24, pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. She was found guilty and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs.
