Maidens volleyball aces Thompson Falls

THOMPSON FALLS – Ronan took on the Lady Hawks in Thompson Falls and brought home a 3-1 win. As the Maidens win percentage grows, so do each of the girls that make up the varsity volleyball team.
Coach Adrienna DeCock couldn’t be happier about the way they are playing.
“We came out strong and played hard every point,” she said.
Senior Christine Robinson was a big help for the Maidens on Saturday leading the team with seven aces, 21 assists, and second for the game in digs with 20. Ronan juniors Danielle Richwine had 27 digs and Kendra Starkel drove down 13 kills.
“As long as we keep serving tough we will be able to stay competitive in our remaining matches,” DeCock said. “So far we are off to a great start, and the girls are working hard and staying focused on our end goal.”
The Maidens will take on Plains on Trotters’ turf Saturday, Sept. 21.
