RONAN – The Ronan Chiefs and Maidens hosted the Ronan Invitational cross-country meet Friday, Sept 13 at Mission Mountain Golf Course.
The Maidens team score, 192, placed the Ronan girls seventh of eight teams competing. None of the Maiden runners placed in the top 20 as the Corvallis Lady Blue Devils swept the first, second and third place finishes.
The Chiefs also took a seventh place finish out of nine with a team score of 199. Arlee’s team score of 215 put them in the eight spot and Mission came in right behind with a 230.
Charlo’s Dalton Delaney time of 18:33 gave him a 12th place finish placing him in the top 20 overall and Zach Felsman of Arlee’s 19:01 time was good enough to eek in at 19th.
All three valley teams will be on the road in the following weeks with a return to Ronan for the Conference Championship Friday, Oct. 18.
