Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Sept. 6-12:

Nathan Eldon Umphrey, 32, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving. He was found guilty, (first offense) and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended and fined $550 plus $35 in court costs.

Guy Gies, 49, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended and fined $250 and $35 in court costs. Gies also pleaded guilty to aggravated driving under the influence. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with 358 suspended and fined $1,000 and $85 in court costs.

Tyson Willian Clay, 26, pleaded guilty to seatbelt violation and was fined $20. Clay also pled guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle (first offense). He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended and fined $50 and $35 in court costs. Clay also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with two suspended and fined $350 and $35 in court costs.

Pedro Luis Cruz Jr., 33, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was sentenced to five days in jail with three suspended and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Cruz also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Cruz also pleaded guilty to speeding in restricted/special zone. He was fined $60 and $35 in court costs.

Tyrell Garrett McNeely, 19; pleaded guilty to seatbelt violation and were fined $20.

Samual Boddhi A. Karzen, 33, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding on non-Interstate. Karzen also forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for resident operating with foreign license and registration.

Russell Lockhard, 65, forfeited a $15 bond for operating with expired registration. Lockhard also forfeited $20 for a seatbelt violation.

Joshua John Weller, 21; Ashton Marie Solecki, 22; each forfeited a $40 bond for speeding on non-Interstate.

Lindsay Jane Howell, 28; Richard Kenneth Brandt, 46; Daniel Wayne Hall, 45; Wesley Robert Miljies, 29, Erica Paige Miller, 32, each forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-Interstate.

William Eugene Burrell, 60, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.

Kayla Norene Smart, 22, forfeited a $20 bond and was fined $35 in court costs for speeding in a restricted/special zone.  

Delon Lee Parker, 28; Joshua Kane Roberts, 36; Madison Ann Browning, 31; Catherine Elaine Gullickson; Roger Scott Gales, 53, each forfeited a $20 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding in a restricted/special zone.

Jarod Raymond Grubb, 33, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-Interstate, night limit.

Taylor M. Marengo, 27, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with an expired registration-failure to reregister. 

Lilian B. Mcmackin, 25, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.

Joshua Leon Johnson, 34; Wesley Robert Miljies, 29; Earl Robertdean Robinson, 18; Preston Robert Johnson, 38; Thomas Richard Mcdonald, 54; Michael Bettencourt, 35; Christopher Dennis Moldenhauer, 20, each forfeited a $20 bond for a seatbelt violation.
