Floyd Allen Williamson
LOUISVILLE, KY. – Floyd Allen Williamson, 79, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, in Louisville, Ky.
Floyd was born June 15, 1934, in Harlowtown, Mont. to Nora and Floyd Williamson. He attended school in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and graduated from Polson High School in 1953. He married his high school sweetheart, Merna Dickson, on June 21, 1953. He attended college in Eugene, Ore., and became a minister for the church of Christ in Superior, Mont.; Stockholm, Sweden; Temple Hills, Maryland; and Louisville, Ky.
Floyd’s mother and father; wife Merna; and infant son William precede him in death.
Survivors include his sons Floyd (Isabelle), Micheal, Robert (Tressia) and Per Williamson; daughter Trina Kiefer (Kenny); siblings Barbara White and Robin Burland (Dick); nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Aug. 29, 2013, at the Midwest Church of Christ in Louisville, Ky.
