Editor,

With the upcoming elections in November, and the ballots soon to be mailed out, I would like to express my support for Bob Fulton for mayor. I have heard Bob speak, and am in agreement with his common sense philosophy of governing. In his own words, Bob would like to bring positive changes to the way Polson government is run, changes that would benefit all of the people of Polson.

From citizens’ comments, there are many cases where the city is not following the rules, and this needs to be brought out in the open to the public. Bob will stand up to those who have used their positions for their own advantage rather than for the people. The present system is not set up to get input from constituents and communicate with them. The people need an open invitation to ask questions, be listened to with respect, and given an answer. Bob believes that everyone should be treated the same.

Bob Fulton has had long-time experience with city government. He was an engineer for the city for 24 years, and is chairman of the city-county planning board which he has served on since 2006. He knows the issues, will be fiscally responsible, and will work consistently to resolve problems. As Mayor, he will bring integrity and courage into the process of leadership, inviting input, and allowing the people to have their voices heard.
