The upcoming Polson city council and mayoral election is a classic example of two diametrically opposed viewpoints among some of the candidates. On one side you have candidates with a generally positive view of life, and on the other, some with a much more negative view. A community’s image is often a reflection of its leadership. I would prefer leadership that views the “glass half full” over those who view it as “half empty,” trust over suspicion and happiness over anger. Some people are well-adjusted and better suited for leadership roles than others. Please join me in supporting Jill Southerland for city council and Heather Knutson for mayor.
