Dakota Gun Hammer had a stellar offensive night Friday at Deer Lodge, scoring four touchdowns and running in a couple of two-point conversions to win 28-12.
The game was scoreless for about a quarter, but Gun Hammer came alive in the second, scoring his first touchdown off of a 43-yard run. In the third quarter he contributed a 17-yard touchdown. He finished off his scoring frenzy with two more touchdowns in the fourth.
Deer Lodge’s Brett Witt scored his teams’ first touchdown in the second quarter off of an 18-yard pass, and teammate Reno Ward scored a late touchdown in the fourth.
The Bulldogs are now 1-2, 3-4 and face Ronan at home Friday.
