Great, according to Mr. Jonathan Denton of Charlo, Mr. Michael Gale has no “standing” for an opinion on just about anything. Guess I should start listening to the birds as well; one flew over the cuckoo’s nest recently and spoke to him.
Seems we’re back to membership in the good old boys club. If you weren’t born here and aren’t at least fifth generation, you are not qualified to have an opinion on anything outside the front door of your home. I have to say, reading this was the most entertaining event this week.
I am often asked why I don’t respond to the “nay-sayers” who attack me in the paper (instead of the issues I raise) and my response is twofold: the VJ doesn’t allow me to (although it’s okay for someone to lay into me using my name profusely) and the folks who attack usually prove my point.
So, I will continue in my efforts to shine a light on the things that want to remain in the dark and I will continue to expose problems that I have not created, but cannot and will not hide or run from that diminish the potential for a really great life here.
Mr. Denton can continue to dodge potholes while our city governments continue to spend money they don’t have on unnecessary cute toys. I will continue my efforts to expose what limits the goodness in our lives.
