Editor,

Lately we have been hearing more about Elizabeth Warren, the present senior Senator from Massachusetts elected in 2012 and first female senator from that state, as a possible candidate for president of the United States, running against Hillary Clinton.

Let’s assume that both Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren want to be on the Democratic ticket in the 2016 general election. Here is an idea both revolutionary and evolutionary in American politics. They campaign vigorously in the primaries, but not against each other. Instead, they speak with a shared clear vision of what is best for America. They help shape the Democratic platform on what is needed for America right now, politically, economically, socially, infrastructure-wise, and internationally. And as they campaign they are listening with four attuned ears and two bright minds as to what the majority of We the People are truly looking for in political leadership in America now.

They leave it up to the American public to decide, through the primary process, which one is favored as president. The favored one goes into the Democratic convention as candidate for president and the other as her running mate for vice president. The party would have two fine and qualified women with powerful feminine energy and wisdom ready to lead our nation.

The inherent feminine healing traits toward peaceful resolution in the face of controversy, plus their demonstrated wisdom in political leadership, would be felt both here at home and around the world.

Food for thought as we enter into our holiday season of peace and good will.
