Vickie Perry Hanson
PARKER, COLORADO — Vickie Perry Hanson, born Aug. 18, 1953, in Greely, Colo., died Nov. 11, 2013, in Parker, Colo. in the loving arms of her family.
She attended the University of Northern Colorado and later obtained her certification as a court reporter in San Diego. She switched careers and found her calling as a crew scheduler for Frontier Airlines. It was there she met and fell in love with Pilot, Douglas J. Hanson of Polson. They were married in Golden, Colo. on Aug. 23, 1983. They had three children, Kimberly Hach (Ethan), Skyler Hanson, Trever Hanson and granddaughter Brennah Hach.
At the time of her death Vickie was President and CEO of CM Systems, the computer software company she founded with her husband and Chairman of the Board of Heritage Development Properties.
Vickie dedicated her life to the nurturing, education and support of her family and provided many her unselfish and understanding friendship. She had a zest for life and cared for others without hesitation.
Her husband Doug was killed in 1998. Her father Gerald F. Perry also predeceased her.
Vickie’s children and granddaughter, her mother Marsolie Perry and her brother Roger (Linda) Perry survive her.
Services were held Nov. 16 at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Parker, Colo.
Memorials may be made to the Greater Polson Community Foundation or St. Jude’s Children’ Hospital.
