RONAN — Bail was set at $100,000 Friday for Eugene Seyler, 41, of Ronan, who is accused of stabbing a neighbor at the Gardner Apartments on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
According to Lake County Undersheriff Dan Yonkin, a Ronan Police officer responded to two 911 calls that came in shortly after 5 p.m. and found both men with injuries.
The victim of the stabbing, a 46-year-old male, was transported to St. Luke’s initially by ambulance, and then another hospital for additional treatment, Yonkin said.
Seyler was also injured and tranported by helicopter to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was combative during transport.
Seyler was taken into custody the next day and booked into the Lake County Jail for attempted homicide.
