RONAN – K. William Harvey Elementary School’s first, second, third and fourth grade classes packed the Performing Arts Center Tuesday in the annual “Christmas Carol-Along.”

Music teacher Tammy Krahn organized and conducted the show, which included “Joy to the World,” “The First Noel,” “Silent Night” sang with a few lines in Salish, and “Hark the Herald.”

During the show, Devin Quequesah and Joey Mahkuk played the polar puppies, while Gracie Trahan and Shalya Torgenrud played Santa. Bernie Gordish played piano accompaniment for “What Child is This?” Caitlynne Callahan helped Krahn conduct the fourth grade choir club during “Silent Night.” Bradey Clary and Oryssa Hall acted out a skit as “Jingle and Bell,” while Gabriel Brown played “Jingle the Happy Bell.” Hannah Rowe also performed a solo, while Aliyah Christensen, Patience Reum, and Brooklyn Joachim sang a trio. Ashlie Welker, Dillon PrettyOnTop, Payton Cates, Nichole Koehler, Patience Reum, and Cayden LaRance trumpeted the arrival of Good King Wenceslas, which was accompanied by music from the fourth grade Recorder Club.

Krahn thanked Daniel Koehler for painting the North Pole for the concerts, and said a DVD of the event is available. Email tammy.krahn@ronank12.edu for more information.
