On behalf of the friends and family of Tomy Parker I would like to extend a big thanks of appreciation to all who participated and/or donated of time and goods to “The Homes for Our Troops” groundbreaking Nov. 23 for LCPL Thomas Parker’s new home. A special thanks to Tracy Morigeau Frank of Kicking Horse Job Corps, Terrace Lake Community Church for use of their facilities, and to the individuals who escorted Parker to the groundbreaking site; and finally, a big “thank you” from all of us to the Valley Journal for their news coverage and support of this event.
To further help raise funds for the project, the shovels donated by Hanson and Granley and painted by Johnie Parker will be auctioned off at a later date. Thank you, again, from all of us.
