Justice of the Peace, Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Nov. 9-13:

Marci Faye Jore, 32, pleaded not guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, was found guilty and fined $250 plus $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.

Patrick Wayne Hadley, 29, pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, was found guilty and fined $300 plus $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended. 

George David Smart, 63, pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days jail with all suspended. Smart also pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle with alcohol concentration of 0.08% BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.

Joann Summer Hogan, 47, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating a motor vehicle with expired registration – failure to reregister. 

Joshuah David Gowen, 34, Abighaile Marie Enas, 18, Monica Ann Simonson, 53, and Jay Polite Laber, 52, forfeited their $20 bonds for speeding on a non-interstate highway, exceeding day limit of 70 mph. 

Kellie Sunshine Farris, 38, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof of insurance or exhibit insurance in vehicle, first offense and was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended if all laws are obeyed for six months. She also pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration-failure to reregister and was fined $35 and $35 in court costs. 

Lori Ann Walter, 43, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof of insurance or exhibit insurance in vehicle, first offense and was fined $250 with $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days with all suspended. Walter also pleaded guilty to a seatbelt violation and was fined $20.

Richard Merrit Iverson, 56, pleased guilty to breaking a basic rule, reasonable and prudent, first offense and was fined $85 and was fined $250 plus $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended. 

Joshua James Garfield, 29, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, first offense and was fined $250 plus $35 court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended as long as all laws are obeyed. Garfield also pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration-failure to reregister and was fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.

Anthony Louis James, 23, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating a vehicle with expired registration-failure to reregister.

Emily Christine Pinkston, 29, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without liability insurance in effect, first offense and was fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. 

Kevin James Allensworth, 22, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and was fined $450 plus $35 in court costs and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended. Allensworth also pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in his vehicle, third or subsequent offense and was fined $450 plus $35 in court costs and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. The jail sentences are to run consecutively.

Ruth Jeanette Baxter, 69, forfeited a $20 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding-exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit. 

Wilder Dale Coe, 51, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on a non-interstate highway-exceeding day limit of 70 mph.

Rita S. Bell, 77, pleaded guilty to failure to yield to a vehicle on a through highway and was fined $50 plus $35 court costs.

Thomas Allen Brown, 65, forfeited his $20 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding- exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit. 

Terry Lee McLeod, 51, and Dennis Allen Wetherbee, 53, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense and were each fined $250 plus $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended. 

Nicole A. Nelson, 23, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid drivers license and was fined $100 plus $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 in jail with all suspended. Nelson also pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense and was fined $250 plus $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended. 

Gray Cook, 41, and Swan Thomas McDonald, 82, each forfeited $20 bonds seatbelt violations.

David Francis Tobol, 70, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding on a non-interstate highway-exceeding day limit of 70 mph.
