POLSON — During their last meeting of 2013, the Polson City Commissioners renewed the golf pro management agreement and rental agreement for the city golf course with Links Management, which is Roger Wallace’s company.
The prior agreement allowed for a three-year extension, and the commissioners took that extension. The new term will run from Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 31, 2016. The golf pro management agreement calls for an annual payment of $116,987.13 to Links Management.
For the rental agreement, Links Management agreed to pay the City $500 per month for the months of May through October and $100 per month for the remaining months of the year.
During the Polson City Manager’s Mark Strives’ comments, he thanked the street department for the job they did with Polson’s snowy streetfollowing recent heavy snowfall, both clearing streets and removing snow piles on Polson streets.
Strives also said the commission’s letter of support for an additional two feet on the sides of the City Dock may have helped, since the Shoreline Department approved the plan.
The next commission meeting will be held on Jan. 6, 2014.
