POLSON — Brrr … cold enough for ya?  Anyone care to weigh in on the global warming debate?

As cold as it is outside, our senior bowlers continue to heat up the lanes. Some are making them downright hot.

Walter Reznicek not only had the high game of 247, he also had high handicap series of 703. He’s not just a pretty face. Cris Alter followed close behind with a 246 game, showing up her husband, Larry, who had a 220. They both, along with Don Young, shared spots in the high series. Jack Adamson (245), Don Young (241), Keith Ross (212), Ray Theiler (203) and Kathy Fry (202) filled out the rest of the high game star roster.

The lunch menu for the coming week, beginning Feb. 13, is:

• Thursday – hamburger gravy over whipped potatoes

• Friday – BBQ sandwich

• Monday – navy bean and ham soup

• Tuesday – goulash

• Wednesday – beef tips and gravy over rice

Our tax preparers have been busy. Call for an appointment at (406) 883-4735.

Everyone is welcome to join our exercise group on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

Every Friday night we have bingo games beginning at 7 p.m. A lunch and snacks are available. Lay down a few bucks and maybe walk away with the $100 blackout prize.

And finally, congrats to our cook, Wanda Burland, who just celebrated 31 years of marriage. The couple went to Kalispell and watched their team, the Seattle Seahawks, take the trophy.

Trivia question of the week: explain the quote, “Shamed be those who think evil of it.”
