Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Feb. 14-20:
Carmen Jeanne Thornton, 51, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation. She also forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She also forfeited a $200 bond and $35 in court costs for driving without a valid drivers license, expired less than 180 days.
Wendy Gail Holzinger, 56, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended. She also pleaded guilty $85 for basic rule, reasonable and prudent, first offense.
Ashlyn Nicole Lancaster, 21, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for improper passing in no-passing zone.
The following people forfeited a $20 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit: Daniel Christopher Bohr, 27, and Jeannette C. Carr, 40.
The following people forfeited $30 and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/ speeding zone speed limit: Linda Lee Thomas, 66, and Connor Brandon Laine, 22.
JSon Heffner, 42, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for violation of DFWP rules and regulation.
