Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Feb. 21-27:

Michael A. Kelly, 48, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $200 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended.

Randall George Ingraham, 58, pleaded not guilty to cruelty to animals, overworking, beating, torturing, injuring or killing the animal, first offense. He was fined $200 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with all suspended. Ingraham also pleaded not guilty to negligent endangerment (substantial risk-death/serious bodily injury). He was found guilty and fined $400 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with all suspended.

Andrew Steven Messick, 28, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding on non-interstate, exceeding night limit of 65 mph.

Justin Richard Montelius, 25, forfeited a $30 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/speeding special zone speed limit.

Aaron James Rasmussen, 18, forfeited a $70 fine for speeding on non-interstate, exceeding the night limit of 65 mph.

Randall Curt Mitchell, 57, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.

Jared Ross Schmidt, 24, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for careless driving.

Reuben F. Creighton, 49, forfeited a $20 fine and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special speed limit.

Arnold Vincent Cardenas, 19, pleaded guilty $40 for speeding on non-interstate, exceeding day limit of 70 mph. Cardenas also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended.

Pailin Boonrit, 26, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-interstate, exceeding day limit 70 mph.

Kristen Marie Kleiv, 28, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended.

Jon Patrick Turner, 46, forfeited a $60 fine and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.

Michael J. Spotorno, 46, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.

Todd Ryan Jordan, 29, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, third offense. He was fined $1000 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 335 days suspended. Spotorno also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle when privilege to do so is revoked. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended.
