I had the pleasure of meeting Rick Schoening was when he first came to Lake County and while I was employed with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. His professional skills immediately created an outstanding and much needed relationship between the Montana Fish and Game and all agencies in Lake County.
Through the years, I witnessed Rick demonstrate the desire to always be there when needed, either by law enforcement or the public. After retiring from the Montana Fish and Game, Rick has continued with his desire to help others and has become employed as a Polson Police officer. Even though Rick Schoening and I currently do not work together, I know he has a desire to create a better working environment at an organization where I worked at for 27 years. As the new Lake County Sheriff, he will bring the kind of leadership and direction needed to bring a positive change. He would continue to demonstrate to have admirable personal and work ethics needed when working with the public, crime victims and other organizations in Lake County.
I firmly believe that Rick Schoening would be active and a hands-on Lake County Sheriff. Because of my history with Rick, he will be who I vote for as our new Lake County Sheriff.
