Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases March 14-20:
The following individuals each forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violations: Serena Ryan Clary, 29; Dale Antone Walchuk, 52; Gary D. Hall, 44; Leo William Mitchell, 74; Roberta Tamcke, 38.
Paul Allen Pospishil, 36, pleaded not guilty to privacy in communications, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $200, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.
Clayton Alex Trimble, 20, pleaded not guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21, first offense. He was fined $100 and $85 in court costs.
Robert Chris Hand, 57, pleaded not guilty to improper passing in no passing zone. He was fined $100 and $35 in court costs.
Max Albert Krantz, 51, pleaded not guilty to permitting animals to run at large her district. He was found guilty and fined $100 and $35 in court costs.
Traci Lea Freshour, 35, pleaded not guilty to failing to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $500. He was fined $200 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 20 days in jail with all suspended.
Sheralee Choquette Konen, 47, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-interstate, exceeding night limit of 65 mph.
The following individuals each forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-interstate, exceeding day limit of 70 mph: Valdean Anderson, 49; Carston Glen Baertsch, 18; Patrick John Cote, 26; Douglas E. Zimmerman, 57.
Dillon Curtis Phillips, 22, forfeited a $60 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Jason Richard Black, 41, forfeited a $20 bond for speed, exceeding restricted speed limit.
Karen Evans Hunter, 51, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation. Hunter also forfeited a $55 bond and $35 in court costs for failing to have a child under 6 years old and less than 60 pounds properly restrained.
Ty William Clous, 24, forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for failing to display proof of payment of GVW fees. Clous also forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for failing to follow conditions and requirements of special permit.
The following individuals each forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit: Adam Joshua Walker, 35; Jim Lyn Carey, 46; Ian Thomas Damon, 22.
Barbara D. Toftum, 40, forfeited a $30 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Brian Morrison, 53, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
