HAMILTON – The Lady Pirates took charge through Hamilton and Corvallis on Saturday, bringing Polson to 4-0 on the season. In Game one against Hamilton the Lady Pirates blew past Hamilton 8-3. Hannah Potter crossed home with a hotshot solo homerun while Jessica Bagnell and Kaelan Wall each helped with two RBIs apiece. Bagnell struck out 11 from the circle.
The Lady Pirates pulled out their dominance card and showed no mercy against Corvallis, shutting out the Lady Blue Devils 25-0 in five innings due to the 10-run rule. Bagnell pitched a complete game, only allowing just two hits and picking up the win. Lydia Dupuis went 3-3.
The Lady Pirates will head to Belgrade April 11-12 to compete at the Belgrade Invitational and then onto Frenchtown April 15.
