I am writing this letter to say thank you to the Lake County Search and Rescue Team for all their help in completing my Gear Up Pathways Scholarship for 2014. I truly appreciated all the information and the advice they provided. Their assistance in this scholarship has been invaluable to me during this process.
Personally, I want to thank a few individuals for their overwhelming kindness and their willingness to help me, even though they have other things more important to do. Those people are as follows: Levi Read, Bruce McMillan, Kevin Straub, and Ed Hendricks. I have learned more about the Search and Rescue Program than I ever thought I would. I admire all of their hard work and service to the community. I want to say thank you not only for helping me in the scholarship, but also for the work they do every day for the community.
Currently, I have not heard back from Gear Up as to whether or not I have received the scholarship. I will be sure to let the Search and Rescue members know as soon as I do. Thanks again for all the help and cooperation.
