Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases April 18-May 1:

The following individuals forfeited a $20 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit: Daniel Valdez, 27, Michael Steve Rogers, 49, and Anthony Gerard Porrazzo, 58.

The following individuals forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister: Larry Marvin Robertson, 58, and Jason M. Foust, 26.

Jasmin Deane Shourds, 36, pleaded not guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, second offense. She was found guilty and fined $157.50, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 9 days suspended.

Lane Johnston, 20, forfeited a $44 bond for speeding on Highway 93, exceeding day limit of 65 mph.

Stanley Phillip Barnes pleaded guilty to ROW violation, failing to yield to vehicle on through Highway. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.

The following individuals forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-interstate, exceeding day limit of 70 mph: Renee Kathren Moseley, 30, and Anne Elizabeth Duncan, 49. 

Elizabeth Ann Smith, 25, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was fined $250, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.

Jasmine Dumont, 27, pleaded guilty to speeding on non-interstate, exceeding day limit of 70 mph. She was fined $20. Dumont also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs.

Laurel Elizabeth Scott, 18, pleaded guilty to following too closely, reasonable and prudent. She was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.

The following individuals forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation: Amanda Rene Miller, 27, and Curtis Dean Franks, 26. 

Gregory Michael Henneman, 51, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $600 and $85 in court costs.

Travis Leon Rushing, 24, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for failing to have a child under six years old and less than 60 lbs. properly restrained.

Bernard Lee Hertz, 53, forfeited a $125 bond and $35 in court costs for exceeding 34,000 lbs. tandem axle weight limit.

Vincent Olivieri, 43, forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for no log book in possession.
