Judge Sharon Richardson dealt with the following cases in St. Ignatius during April:
Murnice Myers, 56, pleaded not guilty to careless driving. He was found guilty and fined $125 plus $35 in court costs. Additionally, he pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle without liability insurance, third offense, for which he sentenced to six months in jail, all suspended, and fined $525 plus $35 in court costs.
Myers was also ordered to pay $1,800 in restitution.
Tracey Jacobson, 27, pleaded guilty to a local speed violation and was fined $75. She also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. Jacobson was found guilty and sentenced to six months in jail with all suspended. She was also fined $200 plus $35 in court costs.
The following people forfeited bonds for speeding: Jill Searcy, 41, $75; Andrew Murphy, 33, $75; Chelsea Pepi, 25, $50; Sean Ogden, 38, $75; Courtenay Graham, 44, $50; Robert Radke, 82, $75; Lorrie McAfee, 52, $50; Julie Weller, 45, $50.
