Editor,
I personally would love to tell you about Frank and his wife Michal as I know they are not the type to do so. I met them when they first arrived in the valley and have watched them jump in with both feet to help out whenever and wherever there was a need. They have been working with the Boys and Girls Club, front line, for years. Frank is an elder in his church, not by title only, but by being one of the real “Do-ers.” His ability to see all sides, and calmly negotiate for the overall good is exemplary … he obviously understands being a worker and a manager, too. Frank has only voiced the needs, not for changing, but for preserving the rights of the people who live here.
He is a well-known volunteer from day one, having worked many positions that required extensive training and time, in which he invests, such as a volunteer sheriff and with the Red Cross. He not only trains and gets to know the needs for these positions, he is front line in the middle of the night when a family’s house burns down and the need is clear. I know both of them to be people of truth and integrity. They are currently the full-time caregivers of an elderly parent, property owners, and own a small business, too. With all of these experiences you can see that he understands what each of us face daily.
Please join us for coffee and a slice of pie at Leon Hall, 984 Leon Road in Charlo on Wednesday, May 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. and get a chance to know the man — give him a chance to know you, too.
I know he is a man that will do the job for the people he represents. I think if you will take the time to meet him you will know it, too.
