Editor,

Soon, we will gather at our assigned voting places to select from our fellow citizens persons who are supposed to represent us, all of us. How many times have we voted for the lesser of two evils hoping that somehow the lesser of the evils will do the right thing only to discover that our beliefs, our hopes, our dreams, were smashed by our lesser choice?

For the first time in recent memory we have a real chance; today we need not to hope and pray we’re going to get lucky, we have real people who are committed to following our Republic’s Constitution, our State’s Constitution, men who believe in the words “we the people.” For House District 93, the choice is clear: the only man for the job is Frank Delgado; for the position of County Commissioner, Lake County, there is only one choice: Rory Horning.

If we truly care about the direction of our County, our State, our Republic, if we’re disgusted that the incumbents have thrown “we the people” out the window in favor of special interests, then we also understand that the election of Delgado and Horning are critical to stopping our Republic’s slide into the grasp of social progressivism. If you’ve attended any county commission meeting you’ve seen the slide first hand and if you have read anything written for or by or listened to the remarks of the House District 93 incumbent you know exactly what the intentions are. Elect Delgado and Horning; both are men of honor.
