RONAN — Well, I guess that I forgot to write this column last week. That’s what happens when you get old and retired (and way too busy). Anyway, welcome to June. It’s hard to believe that this year is almost half over already.
We have several seniors in the hospital and wish them all complete and speedy recoveries.
Thanks to Bill for playing music for our birthday dinner. We had a nice gathering for our dinner, and thanks to our cooks for preparing a wonderful meal for us.
Our Thursday evening meal will be on June 12 and we will serve chicken. The cost is only $5 per person and this meal is open to all. Cards will be played here on Monday, June 16, at 7 p.m. and the foot clinic will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18.
Our menu is as follows:
• Wednesday, June 11: spaghetti
• Thursday, June 12: chicken at 5 p.m.
• Friday, June 13: soup and sandwiches
• Monday, June 16: brunch
• Wednesday, June 18: polish sausage with sauerkraut and macaroni and cheese
