Judge James A. Manley dealt with the following case Wednesday, May 28:

Jarod Schwab, 26, Polson, admitted violating terms of probation and had his deferred sentence for burglary revoked. Schwab was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for five years. The court recommends Schwab be screened for placement in the Nexus program, followed by prerelease.

 

Judge Deborah Kim Christopher dealt with the following cases Thursday, May 29:

Richard Allen Oppelt, 30, Pablo, was sentenced to the Department of Corrections for two years all suspended for criminal endangerment, a felony.

According to court documents, charges stem from an April 2013 incident where Oppelt chased a vehicle along the highway with two female occupants, intentionally rammed the back of the vehicle, and then pulled alongside and forced their vehicle off the road.

Richard Moulton II, 42, Ronan was sentenced to DOC to serve the remaining two years of his sentence and is to be screened for an appropriate drug treatment program.
