Judge Sharon Richardson dealt with the following cases May 1-31:
Jeremy Samsel, 40, pleaded guilty to dog at large and two counts of unlicensed dog in town. He was found guilty of all three. For each of the three counts, Samsel was sentenced to six months in jail with all suspended and ordered to pay $135 in fines. Samsel also pleaded guilty to vicious dog. He was found guilty, sentenced to six months in jail with all suspended, and fined $85.
Samsel was also ordered to pay a total of $222 in restitution.
Two other counts — vicious dog and dog at large — were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
• The following people forfeited a bond for speeding: Derf Bergman, 57, going 55 mph in a 45 mph zone, $50 fine; Chris Bigley, 40, going 63 mph in a 45 mph zone, $75 fine; Stacey Newton, 54, going 63 mph in a 45 mph zone, $75 fine; Octavia Rose, 27, going 35 mph in a 25 mph zone, $50 fine; Lavon Grandy, 74, going 35 mph in a 25 mph zone, $50 fine; Kris Tingle, 56, going 38 mph in a 25 mph zone, $75 fine.
