Voter pamphlet incorrect

To all tribal members: Most of you have received your Official Voter’s Pamphlet by now and have seen Page 2, “ Introduction to the official voter’s pamphlet.” The very first paragraph has a grievous error which says “Amend the Enrollment Section of the Constitution ...”
It should read “Amend Article V- Removal and Vacancies, adding Section 3, Recall.”
It is very unfortunate that the Election Board chairman did not take the time to review the entire pamphlet. Was this an intentional error? We hope not.
Remember: There is only one thing you will be voting on, and that is Section 3, Recall. This will empower the membership to recall any council member for malfeasance (which means misconduct or wrong-doing by an elected official), plus if they break any rules of the Confederated Tribes’ constitution.
Please understand that Bureau of Indian Affairs made this error, and it is up to them to correct it immediately. BIA was to have a list of all voters at each polling place by June 9. This was not done. Please take the time to ensure that your name is on the list, which BIA said should be in all polling districts June 12. If your name is not on the registered voters list, please contact Cheryl Finley, BIA, Flathead Agency and submit a written request, showing your ID and birth date.
Check the voters list in your district polling place. If you are eligible to vote and are not on the list, contact Cheryl Finley at BIA, Flathead Agency, Pablo, Montana.
The ballot you will vote on will be at your polling place; not the sample ballot you received in the Official Voter’s Pamphlet. The vote is July 12, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Lem Lemts
