Editor,
A couple of the local Democratic cheerleaders, before the primary elections, pleaded with the voters to reject the Republican Party even if it meant voting the Republican ticket to insure the least objectionable Republican would be on the general ballot. Guess it worked. The candidates selected for local office appear to fit their mold. In any event, my congratulations to all nominees. Putting your name on the ballot earns my respect.
Since conservative Republicans are the party of no, thank you for the recognition, we know where they draw the line. So let’s review the last six years of the party of hope and change.
We have a national health care system that is financially unsustainable that has the potential to reduce health care to a second rate commodity. Forget the future of Medicare.
We have an administration made up of socialists, ‘60s era spin offs, idealists, and privileged individuals who cannot pass up the urge to spend someone else’s money. They bleed for the undefined poor, cry for the wolf, campaign to protect their vision of a utopian environment, one American job at a time.
They are the party that booed the mention of God during their national party convention.
They are the party that gave us abortion, the spiraling deterioration of any moral standard and family structure. A former president who couldn’t keep his fly zipped and didn’t understand what defined sex. Currently, we enjoy a president who allegedly is a professor of constitutional law, who thinks that he is above the law and can do anything that fits his plan for the destruction of the country that made his rise to the presidency possible.
This president, because of his bumbling and lack of an understanding of world affairs, has made America the target of every terrorist group with an agenda.
There is insufficient space to list the accomplishments of our lovable Democratic party. You may want to consider the following scandals: IRS, Bengahzi, fast and furious, NSA spying, prisoner swaps, etc.
The party of no, with the help of God, may be our only salvation.
