Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases June 20-26:
Joseph Michael Davenport, 45, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. He was fined $200 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended. Davenport also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was fined $250, $35 in court costs and 10 days in jail with all suspended.
Sydney Jae Normandeau, 43, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for one right of way violation, failing to yield to vehicle on through highway.
Joel Allen Smith, 34, forfeited $20 for seatbelt violation. Smith also forfeited $50 and $35 in court costs for failing to have a child under six years of age and less than 60 pounds properly restrained.
The following individuals forfeited $20 for seatbelt violation: James Edward Davis, 62, Joey Maxine Blodnick, 41, and Beverly Koffler Schallock, 64, James M. Steiner, 25.
Erin Mary Rankin, 36, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding in a 25 mph urban district.
Shawn Walter Marsall, 38, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding on non-interstate, exceeding day limit of 70 mph.
Bethany Manuel, 24, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, first offense. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs.
The following individuals forfeited a $20 fine and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit: Lawrence Myers, 56 and Roger Laurence O’neil, 70.
Elizabeth Ann Sidebottom, 48, forfeited a $70 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Terry Jones, 69, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for traveling the wrong direction, one-way street or highway.
Travis Leon Rushing, forfeited a $35 court cost for operating a motorboat without proper registration or validation decals.
Tra Ludeman, 18, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21, (under age 18), first offense. He was fined $100 fine and $85 in court costs.
