RONAN — Well, can summer go any faster? At least the heat spell is over. Seventy-nine people joined us last Friday for our birthday dinner. Thanks to our cooks for preparing such a great meal.
Our Thursday evening meal will be at 5 p.m. on Aug. 7. We will be serving a great chicken dinner and all that goes with it. The cost of this meal is only $5 per person and all are invited to join us.
Cards will be played here at 7 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 18. This is open to the public, so if you like to play pinochle, come on in and join them.
The foot clinic is on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Jane will be here from 10 a.m.-noon. No appointment is necessary, but we would appreciate a call at (406) 676-2371, so we know about how many to expect.
The birthday dinner for August will be on Friday, Aug. 29.
Crafts are on Wednesdays following the noon meal.
Our menu for the next two weeks is:
• Wednesday, July 29: French dip
• Friday, Aug. 1: taco bar
• Monday, Aug. 4: pork chops and stuffing
• Wednesday, Aug. 6: pizza
• Thursday, Aug. 7: chicken at 5 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 8: Polish sausage
• Monday, Aug. 11: brunch
• Wednesday, Aug.13: baked ham
• Friday, Aug.15: salad bar.
Our meals are only $4 if you are over 60 years of age and $5 if you are under 60. This price is for a full meal, including drinks and dessert. We serve at noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 5 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month.
