Hunter's ed offered in Arlee
ARLEE — Arlee hunter education registration will be held Monday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m. in the Arlee Fire Hall. The course is open to everyone, but anyone born after Jan. 1, 1985, must have successfully completed the course to purchase a hunting license in Montana. To complete the course, students are required to attend all classes, pass a written examination and demonstrate good attitude and ability. All parents are wel classes with their youngsters. One parent is required to sign the registration form at the first meeting. The class materials will be handed out at registration to allow the students to study the material before the first class. The class schedule will be determined during the first meeting.

Gallery to exhibit local artwork
ARLEE — Hangin’ Art Gallery at 92555 Hwy 93 N. in Arlee, presents the first Killdeer Artisans Guild show of 2013, March 25-June 21. Exhibitors include up to 40 artists from the Jocko and Mission Valleys (with the occasional straggler from Missoula and Frenchtown). They will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. A reception will be held on April 6 from 2-4 p.m., (to coincide with the Buttercup Run), is free and will include snacks.
