Masumola Club holds information meeting
POLSON - Attend an information meeting at the Masumola Clubhouse on May 15, at 3 p.m. on the casino, traffic impacts and what we can do about improving our safety. Wally Congdon will speak. Jan Smith-Kasson said her goal is to stop construction until the traffic issue is resolved.

POLSON - Polson Library’s Friends of the Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ice Breaker 50 happens at the MV Super Oval
POLSON - The Mission Valley Super Oval will hold a late model 50 lap, no points race with hobby stock, legend, mod 4s and hornets. Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. Qualifying happens at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. For more information go to: MissionValleySuperOval.com.
Library holds plant exchange
POLSON - On Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., you are invited to share extra plant cuttings, and excess plant seedlings with community members. Please bring healthy plants to exchange. There is no obligation to trade, and you can contribute or take plants without an exact trade. The library has a seed catalog and a small display of seed varieties.
Recycle your e-waste
POLSON - You may bring up to 300 pounds of allowable electronics free to Lake County Transfer Station from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 17. A discount for additional recycling is allowed for .10/pound.(No CRT screens or televisions other than flatscreens).

POLSON - The Polson Library will hold phone and computer basics classes on the third Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. in the library’s community room.

Kindergarten readiness program ‘Storytime’ held
POLSON - Polson Library’s kindergarten readiness program for 3-5 year olds includes stories, songs and crafts and takes place every Thursday and Saturday at 2 p.m.
Theme for this week is underwater and about oceans, lakes, rivers and what lives in them.

Mother Goose at library
POLSON - The Polson Library’s program for 0-24 month old children takes place on Fridays at 10-11 p.m. in the community room. We will sing songs and have interactive activities for caregivers and their little ones.
Pachyderms hear from legislator
POLSON - We will hold our next Pachyderm meeting on Friday, May 23, at noon at the Polson Rural Fire Station, 25 Regatta Road. Our guest speaker will be Montana State Legislator for HD12 Tracy Sharp. He will discuss his first term was like as a state legislator and some of the bills that he worked on in 2025. Come and join us to hear Tracy!
Participate in Shred Day
POLSON - Protect yourself from identity theft by taking up to two boxes of paperwork to Glacier Bank, 50510 Hwy. 93, where there will be a mobile shred truck onsite, on Friday, May 23, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. This is the 18th annual community event.
