POLSON — The June Friendship Table Dinner is on June 12 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Polson Presbyterian Church located across from Linderman Elementary School. Come join us. This dinner is free and open to all.

POLSON – Mission Valley Speedway will have a race on Saturday, June 13, starting at 7 p.m., with late models, hobby stocks, and 4-cylinders. 

POLSON — The EAA chapter 1122 will be giving free airplane rides (weather permitting) for kids, (Young Eagles), ages 8-17 at the Polson airport on Saturday, June 13, from 9-11 a.m. A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign up their child.

POLSON – Come support and watch the Mission Valley Mariners at O’Malley Field in Polson on June 16 at 4 p.m. against the Glacier Twins.

POLSON – Ken’s Country Combo will play at the Community Dance on Wednesday, June 17, at the Elks. The band has a new bass player and a new look. Come check them out. Bring a friend or two and join us from 7-10 p.m. Please bring a treat to share.

POLSON — On Wednesday, June 17, come join a Community Circle with discussion of The Four Agreements from 7:15-8:30 p.m. at the Co-op, 401 Main Street. Pizza will be served.

POLSON — Sonwest Roundup Vacation Bible School at Polson Alliance Church will have fun with games, crafts, songs, and more, all while learning about Christ in this western themed VBS. POLSON – Join Anderson Broadcasting as they celebrate their 40th anniversary on June 18 by hosting SPLASH from 5-7 p.m. at 36581 Reservoir Rd. 

POLSON – LSAR is coordinating a free spay/neuter clinic for low-income households at the end of June. You must complete a sign up sheet to be on the appointment list. You can sign up on Thursday, June 18, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Walmart. Call 406-883-5978 or 406-253-2371, if you have questions.

POLSON — North Lake County Public Library weekly activities are on Thursday at 10 a.m. for school-age children. June 18 is “Outdoor game day.”

POLSON — The Polson Chamber of Commerce’s annual “Chamber Blast” will be held on Saturday, June 20, at Big Sky Sporting Clays. 

The event will start will a quick beginner’s shooting clinic, followed by a shooter’s safety briefing prior to the Sporting Clays Tournament. There will be a barbecue lunch and awards ceremony from 12:30-1:30 p.m. 

Cost is $110 per shooter or $330 per three-person team. Bring your shotgun, eye protection and ear protection. No experience is necessary. The registration deadline is June 15. Send payment to: Polson Chamber of Commerce, 418 Main Street, Polson, Montana 59860.

POLSON — Enjoy music by Andre Floyd at the June 20 Benefit Concert at the Montana Co-Op, 401 N. Main Street, from 5-7 p.m. A $5 donation is requested at the door. 

POLSON — Food and western fun is waiting for everyone who comes to the Family Fun Festival on June 20. Come enjoy the Family Fun Festival at Polson Alliance Church from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be old-fashioned games, big toys, horse-drawn wagon rides, a barbecue, Indian tacos, and more. 

POLSON — The City of Polson Economic Development Council has cancelled the Resort Tax Information Public Meeting scheduled for June 24, 2015. The meeting will be held in July. Please watch for upcoming notice of the public meeting. 

POLSON — Heart to Heart will play wonderful music at the Elks Ballroom on Wednesday, June 24, from 7-10 p.m. We’re excited there are more dancers having fun and frolicking on the great dance floor. Bring your friends and dance or just come and enjoy the music and good company.

POLSON — The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1122 in Polson will hold a potluck social meeting on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, located at the Polson Airport at 6:30 p.m. The Chapter will provide burgers, hot dogs, and drinks, everyone is asked to bring a side dish, salad, or desert. The Chapter would like to invite all EAA members and welcomes all aviation enthusiasts. Hope to see you there.

POLSON — North Lake County Public Library weekly activities are on Thursday at 10 a.m. for school-age children. June 25 is “Egg drop day.”

POLSON — A free community dinner will be served on Thursday, June 25, at 6 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, 2 Seventh Ave. E. The menu is Mexican food.

POLSON — Providence St. Joseph Medical Center providers and administrative team have agreed to “take one for the team,” to benefit the Lake County Relay for Life. Pledges can be made for $5 for or against any of the 13 caregivers at the St. Joseph front desk now through June 25. The doctors and administrators will then have the option of meeting the pledge or participating in the challenge Friday, June 26, at 5 p.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson. The Providence St. Joseph Medical Center Relay for Life teams thanks the community for your support of Relay for Life.
