RONAN — This Dec. 8 workshop covers the purpose of accurately maintaining financial records for your business; working with fixed assets/depreciation, setting up long term liabilities (loan manager), memorized transactions, working with equity accounts, budgeting and cash flow, creating custom fields, customizing reports, creating custom forms, integrating with Microsoft Office. RONAN – Christmas concerts at K. William Harvey Elementary will take place in the Ronan Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Dec. 10, at 9 a.m. for grade 1 and at 10:15 a.m. for grade 4.

RONAN — The VFW 5652 and auxiliary invites veterans and families and the public to a Christmas potluck dinner on Thursday, Dec. 10, at the VFW Hall. Dinner will be served from 6-7p.m. Please bring a salad or dessert.

Kuilix host party for Assisted Living
RONAN — The Kuilix chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a Christmas party for the residents of the St. Luke’s Assisted Living Center in Ronan at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. Ukulele Jam will provide entertainment with festive holiday music. Refreshments will be provided.

Speaker to address workplace ethics
RONAN — Mission Valley Sub-Network of the Missoula Businesswomen’s Network will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015, from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Lake County Community Development Building, 407 Main Street SW. Their speaker will be Debbie Krantz, Manager, Lake and Sanders County Job Service. Her topic will be “Why Workplace Ethics Matter.” Good or bad, ethics change everything. Library to close early
RONAN – The Ronan Library will close at 3 p.m. on Dec. 18 in order to prepare hot food and drinks for the Parade of Lights at 5:30 p.m.
Light it up for parade in Ronan
RONAN — Put lights on your truck, put lights on a Christmas tree loaded on a trailer, put lights on your kids and dog, put lights up in your business and let’s hope Rudolph has his light on when he visits Ronan’s “Parade of Lights,” Dec. 18 at 5:30 p.m. The Holiday Treasure Drawing will follow the parade. We promise you it will be big again and then everyone can journey to Ronan City Park and see Santa by the fire pit and the live Nativity with donkeys, horses, sheep and whatever animal Noah got on the Ark and we can bring to the park. See you in the parade and in the City of Ronan Park on Dec. 18.
Stay warm on a ‘chili’ night
RONAN — Ronan Library will hold a fundraiser during the Parade of Lights beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 18. Hot chili, soup, hot dogs and fry bread will be sold at the Ronan Library door.
